datemymate™ is a fresh, fun and exciting way to meet people online. Friends meddle in friend's love lives by matchmaking and helping them to find the perfect date.
Your mate is along for the ride, they are part of datemymate™ to support you and see you safely on your way.
Everyone on datemymate™ comes with a recommendation from the people who know them best.
What's more, while it's your friend who introduces you, you have complete control over what is published, and if you don't approve of what's up, that's fine, you're not committed.

How do you start?
There's two ways to be part of datemymate™.
Recommend a friend. You might have a single friend you'd like to introduce. You recommend them and we send them an email to give them a chance to check over your comments. If they are game to be part of datemymate™ they can add comments and send us their approval. All this happens before anything goes live on the site.
Nominate yourself. You can nominate yourself if you would like to. Sign up, ask a friend to describe you and once they have done that, we follow the same process as above. We send you an email with their description and you can add a reply before you give approval and the comments go live.
The process is really easy - we help you through each step on the way.
Have you got the general idea? We've called the friends "Meddlers". If you're the one about to head out on dates, you're the "Dater".
What's the cost?
There are two account types –
- FREE ACOUNT (DMM Basic): You are unable to send or read messages, however you can see who the message is from. Other functions include choosing favourites, seeing who likes you, recommending possible matches to friends, advanced searching, status updates, and inviting friends. You have a full profile that is searchable by other members.
- PAID ACCOUNT (DMM Plus): All the features of the
basic PLUS you can send & receive messages.
- $16 - 1 month
- $30 - 3 months
- $48 - 6 months
All users of datemymate receive email notifications when someone adds them to their favourites, messages them or recommends another user to them.
As a site launch special we are giving away 1 Month DMM Plus accounts to the first 500 people to sign up.
How to start Meddling - what to do if you're recommending a friend.
So, you reckon you've got a friend who would love to go on some dates but is too shy to introduce themselves? In other words, you reckon it might be just the thing if you started meddling a little in their affairs by recommending them on datemymate™.
The first thing we think you should do is make sure that they know what you're up to. That way they'll be expecting our email with your comments and recommendation.
Signing up to recommend a friend is easy. We lead you through the process and if you have any questions as you go along, you just have to ask.
We'll then email your friend. We tell them who we are and what you're up to.
If they are not happy with what you've done, they can ignore the email and no doubt they'll let you know what they think of your meddling! And if we don't hear back from them, we won't be publishing any comments.
If they are happy with what you are doing and what you have said, we tell them how to approve the comments and add a reply. Only once they approve the recommendation and your comments will the profile go live on the site.
Once you successfully register a friend to the site you will have a Meddler status and you get to join in on the fun, including finding out who else has been recommended to datemymate™ and who might be the perfect person for your friend to meet. You can also increase your meddler status by recommending more friends and signing on more friends to the site. Try and achieve 'super-cupid' status!
We take a lot of care to ensure that all the personal details your enter about you and your friend during the registration process are kept private. The only way another user of the site can contact your friend is through datemymate™.
How to start Dating - what to do if you'd like to have a friend recommend you
You'd like to have a friend recommend you on datemymate™, would you? Well, there's no problem about joining the site yourself. Just register with your own details here. You'll see that we ask you to let us know the email address of the friend you would like to have describe you. You had better warn them to expect to hear from us!
We will then send your friend an email and explain what it is they need to do to recommend you on the site. Once they have completed the process of recommendation, we get back in touch with you so you can read their comments. You have complete control over the process. If you are not happy with what they have said, you need take the recommendation no further -- or you can find another friend to Meddle in your affairs!
If you are happy with their comments, let us know you approve. No comments will be posted on the site until we have your approval.
All the profiles on datemymate™ look identical. No one will know whether a friend has recommended you, or you have asked that friend to write the comments for you.
And, as we like to stress, all the personal details we ask you for in the registration process are confidential and remain private. The only way someone can contact you is through datemymate™ and you are only known on the site by a first name basis.
